About AIfND

Resilience is the operating system of communities that recover fastest.

AI for Natural Disasters exists because disasters don’t wait. When a hurricane is 36 hours from landfall or a wildfire is shifting direction, the people responsible for coordinating the response need answers in minutes, not search results, not generic AI suggestions, and not another dashboard to learn.

We built ResilientIQ to close that gap. It’s a domain-curated knowledge engine, advised by professionals from FEMA and NOAA, trained on the actual doctrine that emergency managers work from: NIMS, ICS, ESF frameworks, CPG 101. When a coordinator asks it a question, it answers with cited doctrine, not a best-guess synthesis.

Behind ResilientIQ sits Terra Vigil: a structured-data prediction engine for real-time hazard modeling. Where ResilientIQ answers the question “what should we do?”, Terra Vigil answers “what is about to happen?” by combining historical patterns, real-time sensor data, and computational models into assessments that planning teams can act on.

Both products share the same founding conviction: resilience is the operating system of communities that recover fastest. The agencies that have the doctrine loaded, the data queried, and the decisions made ahead of time are the ones that come through intact. AIfND builds the tools that make that preparation possible.
